I have a spare battery without the little handle in my storage room and I hate it so, so very much. How much do these friggin’ things weigh? Clearly, I need to just lift it repeatedly until I’m buff.

I replaced the battery in my Fiat recently, and being cheapest of the cheap it doesn’t have a handle. It’s a huge pain to get in or out of the car. :/ Handleless batteries are just evil.

recently replaced the battery in my wife’s jeep. no strap on the factory battery and the battery tray is so tight you can’t tilt it and get your hand under it. only way it’s coming out is by fingertip. ended up taking two battery terminals I had lying around and connecting them together with a piece of thick rope, thus making a carry handle. worked well, probably much better than my original plan of doing the same thing but with a piece of battery cable. I don’t know how long it would have taken to explode but I didn’t want to find out.
